Highfield House (awarded Bed & Breakfast of the Year 2017 at Hospitality Awards) is an elegant, 18th century residence run by Edward and Geraldine Duignan and situated in the beautiful historic town of Trim, which is renowned as one of Ireland’s most beautiful towns. The award winning accommodation boasts magnificent views of Trim Castle, The Yellow Steeple, and the River Boyne.

The house was built in the early 1800’s and was opened as a stately maternity hospital in 1834 and remained so up to the year 1983, making it 175 years old. Many local Irish and those who emigrated from this area would have been born in Highfield House. A host of original, antique interior features still remain including high ceiling rooms, wooden floors and wooden ceiling beams. Highfield House is surrounded by beautiful gardens for guests to experience.
