CREDIT UNION BRANCH IN TRIM SPONSOR THE SALMON FESTIVAL OF KNOWLEDGE 2018
The Credit Union Branch in Trim, part of Drogheda Credit Union, has been announced as the Main Sponsor of the Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival which is brought to you by Trim Tourism Network. The festival will take place on Sunday August 26th 2018, coinciding with the start of the Race Around Ireland. The festival is a NON PROFIT event for Trim and there is no entry charge on the day of the festival making it a great day out for families.
The festival is a celebration of the river Boyne and its significant role in Ireland’s past both fictional and factual. It is set against the magnificent backdrop of Trim Castle and will showcase cultural, historical and sporting activities both local and throughout the Boyne Valley. It’s set to be a great day with a packed programme of events and activities including the Boyne Adventure Race using the River Boyne through Trim. With traditional music and dance, drama performances, stalls from Trim and Boyne Valley craftspeople, and entertainment throughout the day, we look forward to showing off our vibrant town and all it has to offer to an international audience.

Drogheda Credit Union, with branches in Drogheda, Trim & Bettystown are also Main Sponsors of the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2018, forming a collaborative group of Credit Unions that includes Dundalk Credit Union, Ardee Credit Union, Duleek Credit Union, Dunleer Credit Union and Progressive Credit Union to support and sponsor the biggest family festival in the country which this year will be hosted in Drogheda.
